Physical properties:

Character: White or similar white fibrous or grain powders, no smell; slightly insoluble in ethanol without water, diethyl ether, acetone; when it dissolves and swells in cold water, it will form clear or tiny turbid colloid solution.
Particle size: 100 percent through 100mesh sieve.

USE: The product is non-ion type cellulose ether which is medicinal accessory material of many uses. It can be used for densifiers , dispersing agent, emulsifying agent, lubricator and film former etc. It can be used in food or in cosmetics, and daily chemical industries too. For example:

In cosmetics, through adjusting fluidity, it grants the products with proper viscosity, emulsification, stability, lubrication, foam stability and solubility of surface active agents.

In food processing, it serves as an effective thickener,emulsifier,water-retainer, and epispastic in mechanic foaming. Thermosetting plastics, low heat value, solution refrigeration, non-phase separation in particular, function well in stuffed food roasting, instant drinks, frozen food and dehydrated food processing.
